MK6 and MK7 Systems – Supported and Stocked by Thames Diesel

The MK6 system, introduced in 2000, is installed on thousands of vessels. It detects oil mist levels at key sampling points on the engine, providing rapid warnings. Thames Diesel continues to support the MK6 with spare parts and technical assistance.

The latest MK7 system, available since 2012, builds on the MK6 with added features such as a graphical display interface for diagnostics and monitoring from the engine control room. It uses the same detector base and sample pipes, making upgrades straightforward.

We stock MK7 spares and complete systems for upgrading MK5 and MK6 models. Our team is available to provide expert advice on system specifications and installation.
